The Irish Seed Savers Association is a Company Limited by Guarantee, based in Scariff. It was founded by Anita Hayes in 1991. Today, it employs 16 people. Jennifer McConnell runs the Association as its General Manager since 2017. The Irish Seed Savers' main objective is to conserve Ireland’s very special and threatened plant genetic resources.
